Portable MPI Inspection Kits

Western builds its yoke kits around the inspection medium: dry powder, wet visible (black on white) or wet fluorescent. More than 15 yoke models can be paired with any of the kit styles, and everything arrives in a custom carrying case with a 12-page operator manual. The W-CDM Complete Dry Method kit adds a 10 lb pull test bar to the yoke, powder bulb, field indicator and four colours of dry powder, so a certified inspector can follow a documented procedure to ASTM E1444, which calls for a yoke pull test after each change of location.

The W-WF wet fluorescent kit pairs a yoke with the SPR-365 LED UV flashlight and twelve aerosols of fluorescent bath and cleaner; fitted with the WC-9 cordless yoke, it lets an inspector carry out wet fluorescent inspection completely independently. The range also includes the W-WM wet method, W-WMB basic wet method, W-DM deluxe and W-DMB basic dry method, W-WD wet/dry and W-WFD wet fluorescent/dry kits, and Western will design and build a kit to order in its own custom case.
