Edge & 2D Displacement Sensors
Through-beam edge sensors and line-beam 2D sensors for edge position, width, gap and profile.
The FASTUS LS series projects a laser line to measure height and width in one pass — a 2D profile at a fraction of the usual cost. Linearity is ±0.1% F.S. and sampling runs as fast as 0.5 ms. Set-up takes four steps, and the included LS-Navigator software configures it from a PC over RS-485.
The TD1 series is a through-beam edge sensor with a CMOS receiver for accurate edge position, width and gap measurement. A direction-checking mode flashes when the beam is misaligned, and the compact head fits tight machine spaces. It works with the CDA-DM2 amplifier, which can also link to CC-Link networks.
