The DM series is a digital color and mark sensor with a built-in red, green and blue light source. It selects whichever colour gives the strongest contrast between the mark and its background, so one sensor handles every mark and material without being swapped.
Teaching is a single button press, with manual fine adjustment against a digital display. In color mode all three colours are emitted and their ratio compared, which makes detection tolerant of variation in the workpiece. Eight banks store settings for different products, recalled from the panel or externally. The D3WF series white-LED fiber-optic sensor covers color detection in tight spaces.
