The D4RF/D4IF series is the current generation of OPTEX FA fiber amplifiers. An OLED display shows detection status and values with menus in five languages, indicators confirm that each fiber is inserted to the correct depth, and large three-dimensional LEDs show sensor status from a distance. A hold function displays the peak and bottom light levels, which makes it easier to set a threshold with a safe margin.
IO-Link support connects the amplifier to smart-factory networks, and newer models add short-range high-accuracy and infrared light-source types. The range also includes the D12R, the basic D1RF and the potentiometer-adjusted V2RF and BRF/BGF series.
