OVAL Corporation of Tokyo launched the OVAL Flowmeter in 1949 — the first positive displacement flowmeter made in Japan — and has built flow instruments ever since. Listed on the Tokyo Stock Exchange, it now covers every major measuring principle, together with the electronic instruments, peripherals, system solutions and calibration services that go with them.
Its positive displacement meters are approved for taxable transactions of petroleum products in Japan and are widely used for custody transfer.
