Ultrasonic Thickness & Corrosion Gauges
QS Family ultrasonic wall thickness gauges for measuring pipes, tanks and vessels from one side.
The QS Family measures wall thickness ultrasonically where only one side is accessible, making it suited to corrosion and wear monitoring on pipes, tanks and pressure vessels. The flagship QS5 measures 0.6 to 500 mm in pulse-echo mode and, on models with echo-echo, measures through paint while discarding coatings up to 2 mm.
The QS5 adds a fault analyser for corrosion and pitting, a B-scan display, a coupling indicator and measurement rates of 4 to 20 readings per second, with memory for 32,000 readings. The QS3 covers 0.6 to 500 mm with 0.01 mm resolution and 5,000-reading memory, and the QS2 is a basic 1 to 500 mm gauge.
