Apera Instruments has designed, developed and manufactured electrochemical sensors and instruments since 1991, from its base in Columbus, Ohio. It makes every key component in-house — above all the sensors themselves — in an ISO 9001:2015 certified facility, every product is CE and RoHS certified, and its instruments carry a minimum two-year limited warranty. Apera products are used in more than 60 countries, by everyone from scientists and researchers to students, business owners and hobbyists.

The range runs from Value, Premium and ZenTest smart pocket testers to the SX700, 400, 850 and 8500 series portable meters, optical dissolved oxygen meters and ISO 7027 and EPA 180.1 turbidity meters, and the 700, 800 and 900 series benchtop meters. Behind them sit more than 30 LabSen pH electrodes built with Swiss sensor technology for specific samples, general-purpose pH, ORP, conductivity, dissolved oxygen and ion-selective electrodes, and NIST-traceable buffer and calibration solutions.
