Calibration & Buffer Solutions

A meter is only as accurate as the solutions it is calibrated with. Apera's pH buffers are offered at pH 1.68, 4.00, 7.00, 10.01 and 12.45, singly or as kits, with the pH 4.00, 7.00 and 10.01 standards accurate to ±0.01 pH at 25 °C. Its conductivity standards cover 84 µS/cm, 1,413 µS/cm, 2.77 mS/cm, 12.88 mS/cm, 50 mS/cm and 111.8 mS/cm; the 1,413 µS/cm standard is accurate to ±5 µS/cm at 25 °C, traceable to NIST SRM 999c and produced in compliance with ISO/IEC 17025 quality control standards.

Combined pH and conductivity kits include 3M KCl storage solution for pH and ORP electrodes and Apera's CalPod or CalBox organiser, with buffers standardised against NIST-certified references at 25 °C, a two-year shelf life for pH buffers and one year for conductivity solutions, and a certificate of analysis available on request. The range also includes 222 mV ORP solution for checking and conditioning ORP electrodes, AMCO turbidity standards, cleaning and soaking solutions, TISAB and water hardness calibration solutions.
