LabSen Testers

A general-purpose pH probe struggles with difficult samples. Apera's LabSen Testers pair its PH60 tester with a LabSen pH electrode chosen for the job, bringing lab-grade measurement to samples in the field: the PH60-SA with the LabSen 845 for strong alkaline or high-salinity solutions, the PH60-HF with the LabSen 835 for strong acids and hydrofluoric acid, the PH60-VS for viscous liquids, the PH60-MT with a blade spear electrode for fresh or frozen meat, the PH60-MS for small volumes and test tubes, the PH60-PW for pure water, the PH60-HT for high-temperature and caustic solutions and the PH60-WW for wastewater, suspensions and emulsions.

The electrodes are made with Swiss sensor technology and materials. The LabSen 845's membrane is designed to minimise alkaline error, with a silver ion trap reference system, open junction and polymer electrolyte that resist junction clogging and extend service life; the LabSen 335 in the wastewater kits uses the same open junction to avoid clogging in dirty liquids. The Smart LabSen Testers offer the same eight versions on the PH60Z, which connects to the ZenTest app to record readings with time stamps, location, notes and photos. The kits include calibration buffers, soaking solution and Apera's CalPod solution organiser.
