Portable Dissolved Oxygen Meters

The DO850 and DO8500 measure dissolved oxygen with a luminescent optical sensor: there is no membrane or electrolyte, the probe consumes no oxygen so readings do not depend on sample flow, and frequent calibration is not needed. The luminescent cap lasts more than 8,000 hours and is coated to resist ambient light and chemical exposure, and a calibration and storage cap lets the probe be calibrated in saturated air. Both meters compensate automatically for temperature and barometric pressure, read in mg/L, ppm or % saturation, are sealed to IP57 and come with a 10 ft or 33 ft probe cable.

The DO8500 adds automatic salinity compensation through a separate salinity probe and GLP data management with 500 groups of storage and USB output. The FloTek WineDO is an optical DO meter for the wine industry, with an algorithm for red and white wine and a 0–2 ppm fine-sensitivity range. The SX700 Handheld Series adds the SX716 DO meter and the SX725, SX736 and SX751, which measure DO alongside pH and other parameters; the SX751 uses Apera's DO500 polarographic electrode with replaceable membrane caps.
