Portable Turbidity Meters

The TN400 uses an infrared LED at 860 nm and the 90° nephelometric method, compliant with ISO 7027 and DIN EN 27027. It covers 0 to 1,000 NTU with automatic range selection, offers an average mode that takes 10 consecutive readings for unstable or settling samples, and is sealed to IP67 for field use. The TN480 is the ISO 7027 meter with a GLP data logger.

The TN420 and TN500 are white-light meters compliant with US EPA 180.1. The TN500 uses a tungsten filament lamp and the 90° scattering method, with the lamp optimised for low-range accuracy below 10 NTU and replaceable by the user, and adds TruRead multi-reading mode, which reports the average, minimum and maximum of consecutive readings, 200 sets of data storage with USB export, a multi-language colour display and a rechargeable battery giving up to 20 hours of testing. The meters are calibrated with AMCO polymer standards at 0, 20, 100, 400 and 800 NTU, which are non-toxic and NIST-traceable.
