Overview:
General Tech Services is seeking a results-driven and technically skilled Sales Engineer – Industrial Automation to support our growth in automation and retrofit services. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in generating new business, managing client relationships, and delivering tailored automation solutions to meet diverse industrial needs.
Key Responsibilities:

Identify and develop new sales opportunities in the industrial automation and retrofit services market.

Conduct client visits to understand requirements and propose customized automation solutions.

Prepare technical proposals, cost estimations, and sales presentations.

Collaborate with the engineering and service teams to ensure successful solution delivery.

Manage the entire sales cycle from lead generation to post-sales support.

Maintain strong relationships with existing clients and develop long-term partnerships.

Achieve or exceed sales targets in alignment with company objectives.
Ideal Candidate Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Electronics, Mechatronics, or related engineering field.

3–5 years of experience in sales within the industrial automation sector, with a focus on retrofit solutions.

Strong knowledge of automation systems including PLCs, SCADA, HMIs, and control components.

Demonstrated success in solution-based selling and consultative sales approaches.

Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.

Familiarity with the UAE and GCC industrial markets is preferred.

Valid UAE driving license and willingness to travel for client meetings.
