PolyWorks|PMI+Loop — CAD & PMI Integration
Model-Based Definition software for building 3D measurement plans inside the native CAD platform.
PolyWorks|PMI+Loop lets engineering teams define complete 3D measurement plans, associative with the CAD geometry, inside their own CAD software. Native PMI — GD&T, datum labels and dimensions — is brought into the plan automatically, and bills of characteristics can be reviewed, ordered and supplemented with manufacturing requirements such as surface and edge deviations or criticality classifications.
When the CAD model is imported into PolyWorks|Inspector, the measurement objects, dimensional controls, views and reports are created automatically. When a new CAD revision replaces the old one, the Inspector measurement plan updates to match, and templates can be generated quickly for new members of a part family.
