PolyWorks|Inspector — Dimensional Analysis & GD&T
Universal 3D dimensional analysis and quality control software for portable metrology devices and CNC CMMs.
PolyWorks|Inspector is used to control tool and part dimensions, diagnose manufacturing and assembly problems, guide assembly through real-time measurement and check the quality of finished products. One software platform works with portable probing devices, point-cloud scanners and CNC CMMs, so the same inspection project and planning process apply whichever device takes the measurement, with or without CAD data.
Its inspection engine uses mathematical algorithms certified by PTB. Measured point clouds, polygonal models and probed points are aligned by surface, cross-section or feature best-fit, then compared with nominal through colour maps, feature-based dimensions and a GD&T engine based on current ASME and ISO standards. Play Inspection sequences and macro scripts automate repeated measurements, and first article inspection reports can be published in AS9102 and PPAP-compliant formats.
