Tube & High-Temperature Furnaces
R and RHTC tube furnaces to 1600 °C and LHT high-temperature furnaces with MoSi₂ elements to 1800 °C.
Nabertherm tube furnaces heat samples inside a ceramic working tube, under air or with a gas supply system for protective or reaction gases. The compact R series reaches 1200 °C or 1300 °C, with tube diameters from 50 to 170 mm, heated lengths from 250 to 1000 mm and an optional three-zone design for better uniformity. The RHTC compact tube furnaces use silicon carbide rod heating parallel to the tube for temperatures to 1600 °C (working temperature 1500 °C), with a C 799 ceramic tube and P580 controller. Rotary, customised and vacuum-capable versions are also available.
For higher temperatures, the LHT table-top furnaces use molybdenum disilicide heating elements and reach 1600, 1750 or 1800 °C. They are used in research and for sintering technical ceramics such as zirconia, with stackable saggars for loading in several levels.
