Heat Treatment Furnaces

Heat treatment of metals needs a furnace that withstands hard use. The N 7/H to N 87/H chamber furnaces reach 1280 °C, with robust light refractory brick insulation, a deep chamber heated from both side walls and the floor, a SiC plate protecting the bottom heating and a parallel-guided door that swings downward so the operator is shielded from heat radiation. Temperature uniformity is up to ±10 °C to DIN 17052-1.

The furnaces can be extended with annealing boxes for operation under protective gas, roller guides and a cooling station with quench tank, allowing processes such as annealing titanium for medical applications. Beyond the laboratory, Nabertherm builds forced-convection and chamber furnaces for industrial thermal processes under air, protective gas and vacuum.
