Ashing & Preheating Furnaces
LV and LVT ashing furnaces for loss-on-ignition work and L(T) and LE burnout furnaces for preheating investment moulds.
The LV and LVT ashing furnaces are designed for ashing processes up to 1050 °C in the laboratory — determining loss on ignition and ashing food and plastics for subsequent analysis. A fresh-air and exhaust system replaces the air more than six times a minute so there is always enough oxygen for combustion, and the incoming air is preheated for ±10 °C uniformity from 550 °C. They suit many standardised ashing procedures to ISO, ASTM, EN and DIN. Versions with integrated exhaust-gas cleaning and a muffle furnace with software for determining combustion loss are also available.
For dental and casting laboratories, the L(T) ../11 burnout furnaces burn out muffles and speed investment material up to 1100 °C, and the compact LE ../11 models are designed for speed investment.
