Melting Furnaces
T bale-out furnaces for aluminium, zinc and copper alloys and K/KC laboratory tilting furnaces for non-ferrous metals.

Nabertherm's electrically heated T bale-out furnaces are used for manual pouring or in automated casting cells. T ../10 models hold aluminium alloys, T ../11 models melt and hold aluminium and zinc alloys, and T ../13 models melt and hold copper alloys such as bronze and brass. Free-radiating heating elements on four sides give high melting performance, multi-layer insulation keeps wall temperatures low, and an emergency outlet, crucible breakage monitor and bath control with thermocouples in the melt protect the process.
For the laboratory, the K and KC table-top tilting furnaces melt non-ferrous metals and alloys at furnace temperatures of 1000, 1300 or 1400 °C, with clay-graphite crucibles of 0.75, 1.5 or 3 litres and a counterbalanced tilting hinge for accurate pouring. Gas-fired and custom-dimension melting furnaces are also available.
- Bale-out furnaces for aluminium, zinc and copper alloys
- Emergency outlet for safe draining on crucible breakage
- Bath control with thermocouples in the melt
- No exhaust gas discharge needed (electric models)
- Table-top tilting furnaces with 0.75–3 litre crucibles
- Clay-graphite or SiC crucibles
- Aluminium and zinc die-casting foundries
- Bronze and brass casting
- Laboratory alloy melting and sample casting
- Lead melting in bale-out versions without tilting device
