6-inch pump pressure gauge systems for a fast, precise check of mud pump and standpipe pressure.
Matherne's single-pointer pressure system gives the driller a fast and precise check of pump pressure, helping to detect mud pump problems such as washed-out drill pipe or bit nozzle faults. Each system consists of a 6-inch pressure indicator and a standard 50 ft high-pressure hose, used with a diaphragm protector, piston isolator or debooster that keeps well fluids out of the system's internal parts.
The gauge can be mounted in the driller's console, in a weight indicator box, locally on the mud pump or as a stand-alone unit. The 6-inch dial is available with coarse line increments for pump pressure or fine increments for choke work, with 360° dial calibration so the smallest pressure changes show.
