Matherne's choke pressure system provides a fast, precise check of choke pressure to help keep the well under control. It consists of a 6-inch pressure indicator with fine-line increments for choke work and a standard 50 ft high-pressure hose, and mounts in a choke console, in a panel or stand-alone.
Compound pressure systems protect the instrumentation from well fluids: diaphragm protectors serve hose lengths up to 50 ft and piston isolators up to 140 ft. Matherne's 4:1 debooster reduces line pressure by a 4:1 ratio, so the panel sees only 25% of the actual pressure.
