ifm fail-safe inductive sensors such as the GM701S detect metal targets for machine safety without a special actuator, and are certified to EN 60947-5-3, IEC 61508 and ISO 13849 for connection to safety PLCs and safe evaluation units. RFID-coded and magnetically coded safety sensors monitor guard doors.
OY safety light curtains and light grids protect hazardous areas and access points; models such as the OY441S meet type 4 to IEC 61496 and, with a protective tube, withstand steam and high-pressure cleaning in food production. Safety relays such as the G1502S, safety controllers, AS-Interface Safety at Work and Safety over IO-Link complete the range.
