ifm connection technology links sensors and actuators to the control system: connection cables with sockets, jumper cables, Y-splitters, splitter boxes, adapters, field-wireable connectors and cable by the metre. The EVC001, for example, is an M12 socket on a PUR cable available in lengths from 0.7 m to 40 m, resistant to oils and coolants.
The M12 connectors have a coupling ring with locking mechanism for vibration and shock resistance and a mechanical end stop that protects the O-ring, giving a permanent seal even when tightened by hand. Mounting accessories, device protection and tools complete the range.
