Benchtop Spectrophotometers
Laboratory-grade d/8° spectrophotometers for reflectance and transmittance colour measurement.
The 3NH benchtop range — the YS6060, TS8560, TS8520, TS8450, TS8290, TS8260 and TS8216 — measures colour by d/8° integrating-sphere geometry, with SCI and SCE modes so that the effect of surface gloss can be included or excluded from the result. The top models add UV control for optically brightened samples and transmittance measurement for liquids, films and sheet.
These are the reference instruments of the range: the ones a laboratory uses to set a colour standard, formulate against it and settle disputes between supplier and customer. The YS6060 is specified to an inter-instrument repeatability of ΔE*ab ≤ 0.015.
For in-process measurement, the non-contact YL4560 reads colour from a sample on the production line without touching it.
