X-Driver Hydraulic Torque Wrench System
One slim hydraulic powerhead that snaps into three interchangeable drives.
The X-Driver is Norwolf's multi-patented hydraulic torque wrench system, built to be thin, fast and easy to set up. A single powerhead locks into three separate drive types — hex cassette, low-profile link or square drive — with no pins or screws, so one pump and one powerhead can cover a whole set of bolting jobs.
The powerhead uses a single-piece piston with only three O-rings, where competing designs use up to nine, and keeps the cylinder in line with the drive so the tool is not side-loaded. Hoses rotate 360° × 360°, a patented dual-mode holding pawl allows hands-free operation, and a longer throat radius lets the tool reach a wider range of flanges and joints.
