The A-DRIVE is the X-Driver's hex cassette. It is totally enclosed with no loose shroud, and its slim body and deep reach are designed to fit all flanges. Norwolf rates it 10–50% faster than other hydraulic wrenches.
It snaps onto the X-Driver powerhead without pins, is ready for a reaction arm or pad with two pin holes, and has a patented reaction pawl that disengages with a screw. The three-part design — drive pawl, ratchet and drive gear — comes apart with standard hex wrenches for field repair, and an optional holding pawl allows hands-free operation.
