EQ-AI code generation from plain-English descriptions, and IEC 61131-3 programming through OpenPLC.
EQ-AI, released in 2024, is a coding assistant that knows the EQSP32 hardware and library: the user describes the required logic in plain English, ladder rungs or sequential steps, and it generates hardware-aware code using the correct pins, modes and library functions. The code is compiled in the Arduino IDE or VS Code and uploaded over USB-C or over the air, and EQ-AI also explains and debugs existing code.
For engineers who prefer traditional PLC languages, Erqos provides a board package that makes the EQSP32 a target in the free, open-source OpenPLC Editor, with ladder diagram, structured text and function block diagram programming and the main unit and expansion modules configured on one System Layout screen. No licence fees apply to either route.
