The Fgard IR3 is an explosion-proof multi-spectrum infrared flame detector for hydrocarbon liquid fuel and gas fires, responding in under 5 seconds to a 0.1 m² fire at 60 m. The Fgard UVIR combines ultraviolet and infrared sensing, with three sensitivity settings so the detector can be matched to the space it protects.
Hydrogen burns with a flame that conventional multi-spectrum detectors cannot see. The Fgard H2 is designed exclusively for hydrogen flames, responding in 4 seconds, and is backed by Factory Mutual (FM) and a 5-year warranty. All three detectors use intelligent heated optics to keep the window free of condensation and ice, and an automatic optical verification test that checks the lens and electronics without an external reflector.
