Area Monitors & Laser Methane Detectors

DetectiveIQ is a configurable area monitor for temporary worksites where fixed detectors are impractical — turnarounds and shutdowns, hot work, confined space entry and perimeter monitoring. It detects up to seven gases at once on interchangeable sensor trays, and as many as 25 units can be interconnected over a Bluetooth mesh for fence-line and perimeter coverage. Battery life exceeds 100 days in its longest-running diffusion configuration, and an optional pumped module samples from up to 30 m away.

The L-TEK P100 takes a different approach to methane leaks. Using tunable diode laser absorption spectroscopy (TDLAS), it measures methane along the laser beam without the gas having to reach the instrument, so an inspector can survey pipework, vessels and gas installations from a safe distance, with a response time of under a second and no sensor to poison.
