Brannan's heavy-duty whirling hygrometer, also known as a sling psychrometer, uses the wet and dry bulb principle to find relative humidity. It is rotated by hand on a folding handle to ventilate the bulbs, uses environmentally friendly blue spirit-filled tubes, and reads −5 to +50 °C in 0.5 °C divisions with ±1 °C accuracy.
The Mason's hygrometer is a simple psychrometer supplied with a chart to work out %RH from the wet and dry bulb difference. Brannan also makes compact psychrometers, digital thermo-humidity meters and max-min thermometer-hygrometers, with replacement wicks, pots and tubes.
