Vision Engineering's illuminators range from portable lamps to professional task lighting. Flex2Light is a portable LED task lamp with a USB-rechargeable battery giving up to eight hours of light, daylight-white LEDs with a colour rendering index above 95, a three-step dimmer and a flip-and-twist shade. The ClearView OPTALITE lamp provides broad, even illumination over a wide work area, and the Lightpad is a compact substage unit for uniform backlighting.
Microscopes are configured with stands and lighting to suit the job: Mantis can be mounted on stands such as the Verso or the Stabila with a built-in sub-stage illuminator for transparent and perforated subjects, and EVO Cam AURA can be fitted to Ergo, multi-axis and Verso arm stands, with clip-on polariser and diffuser filters for difficult subjects.
