For profile and dimensional checks on small, precise features, Vision Engineering's Hawk Duo gives the accuracy of an optical measuring microscope together with the repeatability of digital video measurement in one system. It has a precision measuring stage with coarse and fine controls, high-magnification objectives, a 200 mm x 150 mm measuring capacity and generous Z-axis travel for taller parts, with optional 3-axis CNC control for programmed routines.

Hawk Duo uses Dynascope eyepiece-less optics to view low-contrast features such as black-on-black or transparent subjects. Its M-series software offers digital overlay comparison, DXF import and export, and thread, wire and profile analysis, and the system can be configured with a programmable quadrant LED ring light, episcopic illumination for bores and adjustable substage illumination.
