Temperature Calibrators & Dry Blocks

ETI's 3000 series dry-well calibrators are small, lightweight, portable heat sources for checking thermometer accuracy, and the 3101 heats and cools. Inserts are available for probe diameters from 3.3 mm to 9.6 mm, and ETI also offers a calibration water bath, ice-bath mug and IR-500 black-body calibrator for infrared thermometers.
For checking instruments without a heat source, MicroCal simulators feed a known type K signal — the MicroCal 2 has 12 preset points and a five-point UKAS certificate. The high-resolution Reference Thermapen reads to 0.05 °C and comes with a five-point UKAS certificate for use as a comparison standard.
