Chillers use a refrigerant circuit or peltier element to extract heat from recirculating coolant, heat exchangers transfer heat directly to facility water, and thermoelectric baths control the temperature of liquid-filled tanks. Models vary by cooling capacity, temperature range and stability, and circulating fluid to suit applications from general lab use to demanding semiconductor processes.
