Anemometers & Airflow Hoods

Kimo thermo-anemometers measure air velocity, airflow and temperature. The LV 110, LV 111 and LV 117 have integrated vane probes of 100 mm, 14 mm and 70 mm diameter, measuring from 0.3 m/s to 35 m/s on the LV 110, with airflow calculation (including with a cone on the LV 110 and LV 117), automatic averaging and flow-direction detection. For low velocities and small ducts, the VT 50 and VT 110 / VT 115 use hot-wire probes.

For direct volume readings at grilles and diffusers, the DBM 620 airflow hood measures from 35 to 4250 m³/h, swaps between five hood configurations, reports air changes per hour (ACPH), works as a stand-alone micromanometer with a Pitot tube, and exports data through the Sauermann Pilot app. An extendable tripod avoids the need for ladders in most rooms.
